Lara-Alexis was six years old the first time she stood on a driving range. She's been coming back ever since. Golf raised her. It taught her patience, discipline, and respect for a game that gives back exactly what you put into it. It also gave her confidence, one slow swing at a time, and somewhere in those early years she noticed that her favorite part was never her own scorecard. It was watching things click for somebody else. She was the kid explaining grips to other kids. Twenty years in the game later, that hasn't changed. Today she teaches at Wedges & Woods, where her focus is growing the game from the ground up.

She works mostly with beginners, and especially with women who have wanted to try golf for years and keep talking themselves out of it. She believes the game has room for every one of them, and that the right first lesson can change everything. Her teaching starts where good golf starts: with fundamentals. Grip, setup, tempo, and the etiquette and traditions that make golf what it is, all taught in plain English and without an ounce of judgment. Every question is welcome. Small wins count.

For Lara-Alexis, the lesson doesn't end when the hour does. Bad range days, rounds that fall apart, stretches where confidence disappears, she'd rather her students bring those to her than carry them alone. She cares about the whole player, mind and body both. What she hopes to give every student is simple: help reaching their peak, company while staying there, and a soft place to land on the hard days. She's an active member of the Lady Golfers of the CSRA, plays in a local ladies league, and shares the game with a growing community of women at @coachlaraalexis. She's also working toward her PGA certification.

Away from the course she works in payroll and keeps her own game sharp with strength training, Pilates, and hot yoga. Home is Grovetown, Georgia, with her dog Noël and her cat Luna. Somebody put a golf club in Lara-Alexis's hands when she was six, and it changed the direction of her whole life. Teaching is how she says thank you. This game gets passed down, hand to hand, and she's proud to take her turn.

Wade Wilson is a PGA Professional and certified in TrackMan, Titleist Performance Institute (TPI), and Swing Catalyst. Originally from Dallas, Texas, Wade is married to his wife of 21 years and has two children, Luke and Makena.

For 17 years, Wade served as the Director of Instruction at El Niguel Country Club in Southern California. Today, he is the Director of Golf at Wedges & Woods in Augusta, Georgia, where he continues his passion for teaching, growing the game, and creating exceptional golf experiences for players of all ages and skill levels.

I've been passionate about the game of golf since July 1986. What started as a love for the game has grown into a lifelong commitment to both learning and teaching it. I am Trackman Certified and I believe golf is more than a sport, it's an opportunity to build relationships, encourage others, and never stop improving.

My faith in Jesus Christ is the foundation of my life. I am blessed with my precious wife, who is my greatest supporter, and our two beloved fur babies, who always keep life fun. When I'm not on the golf course, you'll probably find me cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs.

Whether I'm helping someone improve their swing, sharing my knowledge of the game, or learning something new myself, my goal is to make every golfer's experience enjoyable and rewarding. Golf has given me so much over the years, and I'm grateful for every opportunity to give back to the game that has been such a meaningful part of my life.
